Saigon Fusion – Kitchen & Bar
Famous for its European-style steaks, Saigon Fusion – Kitchen & Bar brings diners special culinary variations. You can choose between three types of beef: Australian beef, American beef, and beef from a black cow. The real secret is in the sauce. The sauces are prepared following the monopolistic recipe: five variations of pepper sauce, red wine sauce, mushroom sauce, and blue cheese sauce.
Along with impressive European flavors, the restaurant also serves diners Vietnamese dishes that cover the best dishes from all three regions of the country. You can count on its nutritious bowl of pho (beef noodle soup), stewed cobia in sauce, broken rice plate with chicken cooked with ginger sauce, and rolled egg or fried sweet and sour pork. All these flavors will give you a delicious traditional meal.
Contributing to that success, professional chef are indispensable. These food artists have been constantly exploring and creating new combinations of materials that yet, are just a little bit familiar. All these dishes are balanced in taste and sharpness, between the cultures of Asia and Europe.

Bloom Saigon Restaurant
This restaurant is definitely special. This is because while it does serve delicious food, its mission brings warmth to diners. Bloom stands for “Because Love Overcomes One’s Misfortune” and Bloom does just this by helping disadvantaged children. 100% of the profits of the restaurant will be used in projects to help disadvantaged children such as scholarship programs, and school and bridge construction programs in the central and southwestern Vietnam provinces.
You can expect a European style: luxurious, noble, and classic. You will be immersed in a quiet space, away from the noise of life to enjoy delicious food with the softness of melodious music. The lighting system is designed very carefully, making for an elegant space. As night falls, the bright yellow lights shine through modern windows.
Bloom Saigon Restaurant specializes in Vietnamese cuisine and some Asian fusion dishes which are made of qualified fresh ingredients. This restaurant is also committed to not using MSG or preservatives. The food here is selected from the unique recipes of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

The Other Place Restaurant & Cafe
This restaurant is located in the old market on Ton That Dam street, District 1. The theme color of the shop is cute pink. Although the space here is quite small, there is a view to the old market outside. This is a new restaurant and its menu is quite small but every dish is of very high-quality. Most of the food is inspired by the European-Japanese culinary scene, so if you’re looking for something new in this big city – you’ve found it!
The menu is written in English and is explained in detail, including how to prepare the dish. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic; if you don’t know what you want to eat, she’ll introduce you to some of the restaurant’s special dishes. All the food in the restaurant is home-made, even the bread. Everything from the yeast to the baking process is done on site.
Just to give you a taste of what’s to come, here are a few dishes: Fish Soppa (non-bone fish with awesome sauce), Tonkostu Carbonara (home-made noodles with pork and fish eggs), Beef Sukiyaki (beef cooked with egg and ketchup), and Katsu burger (fried pork with mushroom, cabbage pickled, and ginger sauce). In addition, The Other Place also serves unrivaled desserts such as Hot and Fluffy (soufflé pancake) and salted egg ice-scream.

Xi Xup Saigon
Located in the heart of the crowded city, Xi Xup is yet another peaceful (do I sense a pattern?) and warm little corner where diners can hide away and enjoy unique dishes. This restaurant is only open in the evening, which nicely parallels the black and gold decor.
The owner of the restaurant is a designer, so it’s harmonious in its attention to detail; you can expect high class from the spoons and plates too. Now this place is a little different from the others. The dishes served at Xi Xup have very strange names, strange preparation methods, and also strange food presentation. When I say strange, I really mean unique. All the dishes here are invented by the inspirational chefs. You can’t find Xi Xup’s dishes elsewhere, for example, pumpkin flower stuffed with goat cheese over a shell sauce, rainbow LGBT noodles with beef soup, and vegetarian Laksa curry to name a few. In addition, the restaurant also created many very unique drinks. The price here is also relatively lower compared to the other fusion restaurants on this list. So maybe there is a little room to have a cocktail or two?

The Garlik Restaurant De Tham
Located in the middle of the noisy city center, The Garlik Restaurant has captured the peace and romance of a small space paired with a remarkable cuisine. With a mission to serve Vietnamese dishes in a modern and creative style without forgetting Vietnam’s traditional values, The Garlik Restaurant De Tham is definitely any diner’s destination that encapsulates this dynamic city.
The Garlik Restaurant De Tham prides itself on having a rich menu with a lot of different flavors and variations, which is a unique take on the two cuisine cultures of Vietnam and France. Let me just mention a few stand-out dishes: Hoanh thanh gan ngong (wonton with goose liver), green avocado salad with shrimp eggs, grilled five-spice beef, grilled prawns with salt and chili, Barramundi sauteed with passion fruit sauce, and French roasted quail. Using high-quality raw materials selected from reputable suppliers, The Garlik Restaurant De Tham has very skillfully entered the restaurant market to convey fully the culinary essence of the three regions of Vietnam. Saigon customers should count themselves lucky. Not to mention, the chef of this restaurant is Chef Nguyen Thanh Tung – Iron Chef Vietnam 2012.
Its space is inspired by the European style, The Garlik Restaurant Restaurant De Tham welcomes you into a quiet, relaxing and romantic corner. The restaurant has two dining areas with two very different styles. You can choose a small, cozy room with warm tones, resonating with a soft golden light or a dining room with modern and liberal beauty with white paint and classic furniture. Each corner brings diners a distinct experience to compliment an incredible menu.
