Phu Yen is a province in the south-central coast of Vietnam, its capital city is Tuy Hoa. To the north, Phu Yen borders Binh Dinh Province, the two provinces are separated by Cu Mong Pass. To the south, cross Ca Pass and you are in the territory of Khanh Hoa province. Since the tourism industry is still under development, Phu Yen still remains the wild and attractive beauty it was many years ago. The beach is still crystal clear, the air is not polluted, the hills and mountains are still green, people are friendly, and the food is incredibly cheap but delicious! Transportation in Phu Yen
Just like the other parts of Vietnam, a motorbike is still the main vehicle used to get around. However, if driving a bike is something that does not tempt you, there are some more options such as a taxi or renting a car for you to consider. First, I will talk about renting a motorbike in Phu Yen.
Motorbike
We can separate places to see in Phu Yen into small groups. The distance from Tuy Hoa city to each group is totally doable by motorbike. The advantage of traveling by bike is you can manage your own schedule, it’s also cheap and adventurous. Meanwhile, there are also some disadvantages such as your bike might break down when you’re in the middle of nowhere.
It’s perfect for hanging out!The price depends on the type of bike (old or new) and the bike’s brand. The rental price can fluctuate from 80,000 VND to 120,000 VND (for a manual bike) and 100,000 to 150,000 VND (for an automatic bike). The price does not include gasoline, in fact, you usually rent the bike almost empty so get gas right away.
The renting hours are usually from 7 AM to 7 PM so if you want to take advantage of having the bike the whole day, get up early!
If you wish to rent a motorbike, the owner will request that you leave your passport and/or money as a deposit.

Car Rental Service
If you are traveling with a group of people and don’t want to ride a bike under the tropical sun and heat, it might be better to hire a 7-29 seat car with a driver. The advantage of this service is that you don’t have to worry about the destination. All you need to do is enjoy the AC in the car.
Depending on the capacity of your car, the price will be different. For a seven-seat car, it normally starts at 1,200,000 VND. After that, each hour will be 30,000 VND.

Mai Nha Island, Vung Ro Bay, Hon Yen Islet, and Hon Noi Islet are some picturesque places in Phu Yen. You should take a boat trip to enjoy the wildness of these places, chill in the blue ocean, and feel the fresh air of the sea.
